Catching up

Phew! I'm a little late on getting over here for a post. I had a few pressing deadlines.

One of those deadlines was to finish up a huge order for the boutique White Trash. Molly who I can't wait to meet someday, is the owner of White Trash and she is stocked up with all kinds of mosaic goodies. Go and check out her store at:

I also stocked up Bohemiain Tucson with a bunch of mosaic cupcakes and birdies. Tana, the lovely owner of Bohemia is cooking up an event for August which will include an auction for art. Woo~hoo!!! Here is my donation:

While in Tucson, I took a little jaunt over to 4th Aveto see Bohemia's newest little store. If you haven't been to 4th Avenue in Tucson, add it to your to-do list. The street is filled with a bunch of indie shops and restaurants and hippies. A must see.

Speaking of seeing. I saw this while strolling down 4th Ave.

Speaking of mosaics. I have an addition to "THE WALL". I swear it will be done someday.

 

 

I'm thinking of something PINK for the next addition :-)  Can you guess what it may be???

While dropping off inventory for Bohemia, I did a little shopping and picked up this cutest little guy:

 

He is going to be added to my mosaic wall. I'm not sure where yet, but he will be there. LOVE HIM!!!!

Speaking of LOVE. Daughters 2 and 3 went fishing with their dad last weekend. It was really HOT they said, but they had lots of FUN :-)

 

Can you guess who was bragging about catching the biggest fish????? LOL!! Yeah, we Legler chics kick butt!! :-)

Okay, I know I'm skipping all over the place here with random stuff, but I have so much to fill you in on.

She will be speaking at a Frontier Luncheon on Thursday Sept 16 and autographing her 

cookbook on Friday at the HandMade Market beginning at noon.

Ree gets 13 million hits on her blog a month

They are making a movie - Black Heels to Tractor Wheels starring Rees Witherspoon

Ree reached the top spot on Amazon.com's preorder list for hardcover books - first time ever for a cookbook.

Wowsa, huh?? I'm really looking forward to attending The Creative Connection Event! Jo and Nancy have really put together a spectacular event!

 

 

On another note, I was invited by Jenny Doh of Crescendoh to be the guest curator for the week of July 26th, whereI will be sharing my Art Saves story. I cannot lie. This was not easy. It brought up alot of painful memories from my past and I am feeling a bit exposed, BUT if my story can help others, than it is more than worth it. I will have trembling knees until then.

 

Well, I think that's all for now. My brain is feeling a bit mushy lately. Overworked?? The heat?? Who knows. What I do know is that I have a ton of mosaic cupcakes to get done, so I had better get back to work.
