Glitterfest!

In my previous post I told you that I would be attending Jenny Doh's Crescendoh launch. Well, the day after, is the fabulous Glitterfest show and yours truly will be vendor! :-) I've heard from many that this show takes the cake and I'm very excited to be participating this year. I will be bringing mosaic cupcakes, of course, and cakes and birdies and jewelry and............some NEW surprise creations!! Yep, my brain has been cooking up some new ideas (can you smell the smoke??) LOL!

I hope to take a little breather this weekend and visit some blogs. I am totally missing you people! Of course, this will be after all of my chores are completed :-)

Gallery Show

So, I'm trying to get back into the rhythm of things again. I haven't worked for over a week now and I am really feeling it. I can't really explain the feeling, except to say that it is an uneasy one.

I have a gallery show coming up next week and if you are a local, please come out and join us for the artist reception. It should be fun :-)

In the meantime, I'm going to try and get some work done so that I feel better......more connected :-)

Thanks everyone for your prayers and positive thoughts. I really do think it helped. Little baby Jack is doing so much better :-) He may be even able to go home this weekend!

Heading to Michigan

Sorry, no mosaics to share today.

Daughter #1 gave birth to our first grandson yesterday and I'm on my way to see my baby and her baby. The little guy is having some trouble. He seems to have some kind of infection. They have done a spinal tap and an x-ray on him. The results will be in on Tuesday. In the meantime, they are treating him with antibiotics and monitoring him closely. Mom and dad are trying to stay strong and positive, but you can imagine the fear they have, especially since baby is their first.

Please send prayers and positive thoughts their way. I think it would be good medicine for them all.
