Hoping everyone had a Fabulous weekend. :-)

I thought I'd share some art that I've purchased recently. I am a BIG supporter of buying local art and what I mean by local, is art made in America.

I am in LOVE with this hand carved clay plaque made by Katy Diver. She is a Colorado artist. I am going to incorporate this piece she made for me, into a large mosaic that will be on the outside wall of my studio. I found Katy on Stephanie's blog. They had done an art show together and Stephanie listed Katy's website in her blog post, so Iwent to looky~loo and the rest is history. Art piece purchased and me a happy ~ happy girl!

 

Next, is this wonderful vase made by a local Tempe artist. I can't find her card right now, so I can't tell you what her name is, but if you are interested, email me and I know someone who can get her contact info for me.

 

I bought two prints at the Tempe Art Festival.  This one is from artist, Jarrod Eastman, from jRODart. I love bees and birds, so it is perfect!

 

The other print that I purchased is from the artist, Saint Victor of Saint Victor Diaries. I love all of the nature in this painting. This guys work is off the charts AWESOME! He was also very, very charming.

 

I have yet to frame or hang these prints, but hopefully that will happen in the near future. :-)

Before I go, I have to share with you one of the most delicious chocolate bars I have ever tasted. It was in my stocking. I had to hurry up and eat it before I started my diet :-/ (ugh) It is made by Bloomsberry & CO. They have a website www.bloomsberry.com  If you are not dieting (lucky!) then I highly recommend this chocolate. YUMMY!!
