Welcome Home Companion Readers and Hello Old and New Friends!!!

I thought I'd better check in with you all, before you forget me. Sadly, I do not have a mosaic piece done yet to share with you, but I promise that I'm working, working, working on a few and I will share something with you soon. If I could just clone myself for a few weeks! :-)

In other news, I'm feeling a bit blue. No, not the kind of blue like when your sad but this kind of blue....

Yep, Smurf Blue!!! Don't you just LOVE them!!?? I was digging through a closet today looking for something, which I can't even remember now what that something was, and to my delight I stumbled across an old shoe box filled with my most favorite blue characters in the whole wild world!! This collection dates back to over 30 years ago!! YIKES!!! That makes me sound old! I had forgotten all about them. As a pre-teen, I had them lined up all around my room and I would look at them and imagine all of the possibilities..............

Maybe I would be a ruler of my own castle! Yep, this came true. Just ask my husband and my kids.

Maybe I'd become a doctor. I have spent a lot of years doctoring my children's bumps and bruises and broken bones and illnesses. Oh, and husband's and pugs too.

Maybe a hairdresser. I have spent many years cutting and curling hair. I still cut my husband's hair!

Or, Maybe a cowgirl! I mean, I was born in Wyoming and I do live in Arizona. It could still happen. :-) Can I get a Yee-Haw!!!

Then there are the things I've learned along the way. Like, you have to LOVE yourself even when things get blurry

You have to appreciate each day of your life as a gift.........because that is what it is

You have to be your own champion!

Life is short, so eat dessert! (just not too much)

AND Believe in yourself and your dreams!!!!!! Because if you do, those dreams just may come true.

Lastly, make many friends and let them know how much they mean to you. Not just today, but everyday!
