Okey-Dokey! Here's the last of the NYC pics. Hopefully, I'm not boring you too much with them. I've been spending some time in the studio (when I can get it!) and I promise to share with you some fabulous pics of some mosaics I've been working on......SOON!!! I'm actually looking forward to the holidays being over. I've got so many projects in the works and they are screaming at me to get them finished! Okay, let the slide show begin:
So, being this was our first time to the big city, we had to do the tourist thing and take a ferry out to Ellis Island and then to the Statue of Liberty. I didn't even know that the Statue of Liberty was on it's own island! Talk about living in a closet. Here's Ellis Island. I'm not going to lie, it was a bit boring. We tried looking up some our relatives that we thought may have come through here, but no luck.
And the inside of Ellis Island, where all of the immigrants stood in line.
I believe this pic is of the Brooklyn Bridge. We snapped this pic while we were on the ferry. Check out that choppy water! The wind was blowing like Crazy!!! Brrrrrrrrrr
There she is!! What a Glorious site!!!! I've always wanted to see her in real life!
And here's my goofballs in the gift shop.
Okay, now for the main reason that we took this trip.......
The younger two almost pee'd themselves! Here's a pic of them against the outside wall. It was amazing to see all of the personal messages written all over it. As ususal, daughter #3 was prepared and pulled out her black sharpie and all the girls commenced on adding their own personal messages.
This particular message touched the girls, so we took a pic of it.
Our last morning and of course, we had to stop at......Starbucks!!!! Previously, when we were shopping in the blackmarket/knock-off part of the city, I bought everyone a I HEART NYC shirt. As you can see, a couple of the girls were wearing them. Oh, and check out the little baby bump. How cute is that?! She has the cutest little pregnant body. I DID NOT!!!
Oh, and I must not forget a very important purchase.....
How cute is that????!!!!
Well, that's the last of my NYC trip with my girls. I enjoyed it immensely!! Thanks for letting me share it with you all!!
Here's wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year!!!
