My studio is a DISASTER! Especially after my thrift shopping excursion the other day.....where I scored some pretty cool plates and doo-dads :-) When I returned home, I dumped my load into the studio and walked away. My studio was already a disaster before the dumping, due to the orders that went out right before the holidays. Oye
Here are a few pics to show you what I was looking at yesterday
One of the counters:
Thrift shopping dumpage. I did some serious shopping!
One of the other counters:
I spent the entire day yesterday cleaning this mess up....mostly. I have more to clean today, as well as, catch up on some icky paperwork. blech
I will be so happy when everything is done, as the anticipation for new projects is burning like a fire in my gut. The dreams in my head feel like they are going to crack my head open if I don't get them out soon. Oh the EXCITEMENT!!!!!!! Oh geez, I'm losing my breath just writing this!
I feel like 2013 is going to be FABULOUS!!!
Which means I had better get my booty off this computer and get in that studio and Get-R-Done!
Ever have those days when unnecessary drama is weighing you down??
Well, I've been having a couple of weeks of that. Blech
The best thing for me to do when I'm experiencing such "ick" is to get out in the garden and dig. I mean really work hard. And that is exactly what I did today. My body feels like someone ran me over with a truck, but my mind is clear. Being out in the garden and breaking a sweat really helps me put thoughts in my head into perspective. It just seems to bring order to my life.
To see my yard, some might wonder if I've had a lot of thoughts to ponder in the past.
The answer is YES :-)
This was a tiny stick transplant of Basil I planted in the Spring. Look how huge it is! The bees love it.
The sun was starting to set and really my body could not take anymore today, so I decided to stop and just snap a pic of my view. I LOVE it!
Now go do something in nature. See if it clears your mind. :-)
Monsters seem to be all the rage these days and these lil' guys look awesome hanging on a wall. Put a brightly colored frame around them and they even look better. If you have a cool artsy house, these are the perfect addition. They would look cool in a kid's room too. These guys are the last of several I made this year. So if you like them, get them now. :-)
I hope to also get some jewelry posted this weekend. So keep a look-out for that :-)
